Falso: aunque el paciente puede ser derivado, el estándar de tratamiento se puede realizar por el equipo de enfermería de zona con revisiones médicas semanales.

La úlcera debe reevaluarse a las 2 semanas y si la úlcera ha reducido menos del 30% de su área tiene que ser derivada a la Unidad de Pie Diabético.
